Ethertech
An app that brings order to a security-systems company’s jobs: the office sees where every job stands, technicians have every detail on their phone and management decides with numbers.
- Client
- Ethertech, Ilioupoli (Athens)

- Type
- Web app
- What we did
- UX & UI design · App development · Hosting & maintenance

Ethertech installs alarms, cameras, networks and access-control systems. With the app every job has one screen: the office assigns it to a technician, the technician is notified on the phone, and the job closes on site with a checklist, photos and the customer’s signature.
Fewer phone calls, nothing lost on paper, and a full picture of what performs. The admin changes stages and fields on their own, no developer needed.
The screens on this page use test data.
Frontend
Next.js 16 · React 19 · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS v4
Fast and simple on desktop and mobile; forms validate details before they are sent.
Backend & database
PostgreSQL 18 · Drizzle ORM · Auth.js (next-auth v5)
Secure sign-in with roles; technicians only see their own jobs.
Mobile
PWA · Service Worker · Web Push (VAPID)
Installs from the browser, works with weak signal, notifies on assignment, stage change or appointment.
Files & infrastructure
Cloudflare R2 · Docker · Coolify · Hetzner
Quotes, photos and documents in private storage; only those with permission can see them.
01 /
Every job on one screen
Customer, appointment, quote, files, notes and job history on one screen — the office answers any question without searching.
- Stages and form fields the admin can change
- Several technicians per job
- Undo a mistake with one click
- Job report as PDF

02 /
Technicians have everything they need
Call the customer or open the map with one tap, a checklist per stage, camera photos and a signature — the job closes on site.

03 /
Customers and history in one place
Individuals and companies with VAT details, multiple addresses and all their jobs; Excel import and export.

04 /
Decisions backed by numbers
Success rate, value of completed and open quotes, average completion time and per-technician performance — for 30 days, 3 or 12 months.

05 /
Customer data, protected
Customer details, quotes and photos from homes and businesses need care. Every action is checked on the server against the user’s role, and files open only for those allowed to see them.
- Passwords are never stored as typed (hashed with bcrypt)
- Private file storage — no public links
- Technicians see only their own jobs
- HTTPS, on a server in Europe (Hetzner)
